Advanced Placement Chemistry by the REA
Much depends on how you are utilizing this text.I used it to Stay away: it is full of unrealistic questions and errors
This book provides six full-length practice exams. Unfortunatelly after going over them with my daughter I have discoverd that the questions do not realistically represent the coverage and the level of dificulty of recent AP tests. Even worse the book if full of errors, omissions, and logical flaws, in questions themself and in the provided explanations (and I know what I am talking about since I teach chemistry in college).

A Book that looks appealing, but is inaccurate.
At first glance, REA looks like the best choice in AP Chemistry- after all, it has 6 practice tests.But most of the sample questions don't reflect how the real test is like.You don't find complex logarithms on an AP Chem test, and ETS won't be nice enough to ask you which elements are considered Alkali Earth Metals.Avoid this book!It costs more than most other AP Chem tests.Instead, try the comprehensive Princeton Review AP Chemistry.REA may be good at covering AP history topics, but when it comes to science, try another brand. ... The author speaks
As the author of the book, I am pleased to note that three executives from respected and prominant forex institutions all have endorsed my book, Electronic Currency Trading for Maximium Profit. They are with Gain Capital, Midas Forex and GCI.
Disappointing
This was a huge disappointment. The book is simplistic, disjointed, and offers nothing that even a novice could use. It has a feeling of being written quickly to cash in on the forex trading phenomenon. Look elsewhere for advice in particular anything by Jack Schwager or by Wiley Press, they are usually excellent.

No stars would be a better rating...
If you have absolutely no knowledge of the Currency Markets then this book may be useful to you. The subtitle of the book is "Manage Risk and Reward in the Forex Markets by Learning How to:..." Read more

This book must be a prank
How else to explain that banks are brought down not by "rogue" traders but rather by "rouge" traders - is there a secret market for cosmetics derivatives? - that Switzerland has adopted the Euro, that a chart is described as listing a gain from 93 to 97 but only shows a gain of 93 to 95 etc., etc., etc ad nauseam.
How to implement and back test this concept ?
In theory the concept of parity is belieivable.But to implement it I guess one would need some really sophisticated tool and the book is not a practical guide to implement his concept. Even though book needs serious editing, someone academically inclined may find this book interesting.

Somewhat Disappointing
I guess I was able to benefit from this book by default . . . I am intrigued by the topic.Goldstein provided satisfactory information to give the reader a conceptual understanding about how one would use offshore investments to protect assets, acheive greater privacy and avoid taxes, howerver, this was only provided in the last 4-chapters of the book.I am still trying to figure out which group of elementary school children he wrote the first 3-chapters for.The redundancy of the first half of the book, and its inability to better conceal what can only be described was a simplistic pep-rally to motivate the mentally challenged reader to go offsohre was boarderline insulting--more condescending than listening to Al Gore pay lip service to the middle class. If you have no conceptual understaning whatsoever of offshore investing, this is something you may want to pick up.As for myself, I am going to thank Mr. Goldstein for the introduction and the opportunity of spending $30 and move on to a more comprehensive and more specific work on the subject.
