worst written, poor language and structure of the book
This is a worst book I have ever read. It is clear that the book has been through any proof reading process. The language use is informal and the book has lots of typo errors and grammatical errors. The table of contents doesn't align with the topics in each chapter. Bad, bad book. I will return the book and ask the refund.

Accounting review
This book isn't anything special compared to other Auditing textbooks.Like most, this book falls short in helping the student develop investigational skills needed in auditing and accounting practice ingeneral.There are too many time consuming practice problems that leavethe student wondering what they actually learned for all the work they hadto do on the problem.

One of the best book I have ever read in Auditing
The authors did a great job in putting together all the essential elements in a logical order. Some ppl have difficulties in understanding the later part of this book because they don't have hands on experience in auditing. I used this book too when I was doing my undergrad degree in HK, this book was extremely terse to me at that time. But after spending few years in one of the Big 5 I find this book makes perfect sense to me right now. I am currently doing a PhD in accounting in the States, and I decide to buy this book (again) as a reference on my desktop.

Too thorough and it's clumpsy
In short, it's too thorough which makes studying this textbook a tough task. You don't know what's important and what's not. Though the general layout of the text is systemetic and unconfusing (definitely you won't find following the author's path difficult), the problem of this books comes from the author's ambition to include a lot in one book and failure to do so by dividing the content into more chapters/sub-chapters. This problem is particularly apparent in the later parts of the book, where different cycles of financial statements are analysed. I recommend the book

Technically solid, but weaker on policy arguments
"Created Unequal" is an impressive work of economic analysis of wage and wealth inequality.Although the book occasionally gets into some relatively rigorous economics, it should be accessible to the determined lay reader. A compelling case that politics affects wages.
Galbraith provides a cogent, well-documented argument that instability has more to do with wage inequality than does a mechanism for market efficiency. "When the ocean is flat, rowboats and dinghies can join thetrawlers out on the reef where the fish are running. But in a gale, thelittle boats sink while the large ones do not."He argues that reasonablewages obtain from low unemployment and that expecting science andtechnology to act as the "centerpiece of a progressive agenda is absurd."Highly recommended. ... wonderful...couldn't put it down
For as much as Ralph Nader has influenced and shaped events in this country, most people know next to nothing about the man.Nader has had a long, fruitful career fighting for those without a voice.In this book, Justin Martin has provided the most revealing, eye opening account of a truly great citizen.
Muckraker can't stop raking the mud
The intelligent, take no prisoners, crusader of consumer rights is featured in Justin Martin's new book, Nader: Crusader, Icon Spoiler. Martin is also the author of Greenspan: the Man Behind the Money.Overall, Nader: Crusader, Icon Spoiler, 288 pages, reads well and is organized, but suffers from what appears to be some author-induced opinions that detract from the book's authenticity.
